Dear Political Activist,

Many of you have told me how disappointed you are with some of our Republican officials and I cannot fault you.  I am also very disappointed.  We Republicans are a divided party with no focused message except to make a bigger tent by diluting our principles, and so we become more like Democrats.  I thought that is what Republican national leadership has been doing for the last two elections with disastrous result.  More of this expansion of the tent is going to produce a different result.  I think not.

On the other hand, the Democrats are a single focused party with a constant unchanging message.  Their liberal message of more spending, more taxes, growth of their base through government expansion and redistribution of wealth is tsunamic in its consequences for America.  Their disdain for our U.S. Constitution as a relic and no longer practical is obvious by their legislation and court decisions.

In the Declaration of Independence, our Founders stated that God endowed us with the unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness  (ie property rights).  Inherent in this Declaration, first must come SOVEREIGNTY (independent of control by other nations)  in order to maintain these unalienable rights.

It is undeniably clear that the U.S. is being invaded by and through another nation.....Mexico.  This nation leads the illegal invasion although illegal immigrants from over 60 countries use Mexico as their jumping off point to invade the United States.

Last week nine of our Republican state representatives opposed a SOVEREIGNTY bill which would have attempted to end sanctuary city policies.  Six of the nine did not even have the courage to vote their convictions.  They chose to attempt to protect their political future by not voting.  This lack of courage, as well as the failure to understand that the well-being, if not survival, of our citizens and our country is so intricately tied to this invasion is unconscionable.  The billed failed by five votes.  It was within the power of these nine Republican representatives to protect you and enforce Constitutional mandates.  They failed you.

I cannot help but reflect on the courage and intelligence displayed by our Founders as they literally placed their lives and property on the line when they signed the Declaration of Independence, and wrote the Constitution.  How can we help but be ashamed of our representatives as we contrast them to our Founders?  Perhaps all candidates for public office should take a course about our Founders and the "Natural Law" principles they used to write our Constitution.

Walter Williams, who occasionally subs for Rush Limbaugh, wrote an article recently on the origins of our Bill of Rights.  The Founders purpose was to protect us from an overreaching federal government that might usurp powers not given it by the states.  The very Bill of Rights our Founders insisted be added to the Constitution to permanently guarantee our protection from government has been cast aside by our modern day government representatives.

The one overriding obligation of our government, through Article IV of our Constitution, is to protect us from invasion.  The oath our representatives have taken to this article has also been cast aside.  By not protecting us from invasion,  the following listed representatives voted against your God given unalienable rights to Life, Liberty and Property.  They would rationalize that the legislation was just not quite correct and may be overturned, or would hamper law enforcement efforts, or was not compassionate enough. Or, how can we forget Congressman Shadegg's famous rationalization line categorizing all of us who opposed his go-easy approach to illegal immigration as being "xenophobic and intolerant?"  Congressman Jeff Flake added his two cents by referring to the tone and tenor of our objections as "Intolerant and shrill."

Opposed to these rationalizations are the facts:
-Illegal alien abuse of our medical facilities has forced many to close.
-Illegal aliens use our deserts to dump their non-degradable garbage.
-Through increases in taxation, our representatives are stealing our property
in order to redistribute our wealth to illegal aliens.
-In the U.S., 26 citizens a day are killed by the actions of illegal aliens.
-Services we are required to provide to illegals are bankrupting our
states and lowering our quality of life and quality of education.
-Tucson public schools use race based ethnic study courses to denigrate the U.S., inculcating
     loyalty to Mexico.
-Abetting illegals enables the culture of corruption they bring to grow:
Kidnapping, ID theft, drug wars, murder, vehicular manslaughter, gangs,
graffiti, drop houses, hostage taking, blackmail, rape and death
during transport of illegals, home invasions.

Many of you have asked me, "What is our recourse at such repeated egregious Constitutional offenses?"   My suggestion is to give considerable thought before you support the following representatives in the primary election of 2010.  Your question should be, "What have they done to protect my country and me against the illegal alien invasion and especially what have they done to end sanctuary cities?"  Also, is there a more virtuous new Republican candidate in the race who more closely reflects my beliefs and who might even have the courage to vote on issues central to my welfare?

You should not be concerned that your actions may be frowned upon by other Republicans.  You have every right to favor one candidate over another in a Republican primary and to question serious lapses in judgment concerning Constitutional issues.  James Madison, The Father of the Constitution, said  "The people have the responsibility to keep a closer watch on their representatives and elect only those who will function within Constitutional boundaries."
