The Yellow Sheet Report recently published a short on an anonymous email received at Arizona Republican HQ threatening Chairman Morrissey with a public "recall" campaign if he refused to "do the honorable thing" and resign his position by May 2, 2011.

The email, which has since been circulated to others, has been tracked back to the server which hosts the scurrilous blog site Politico Mafioso, a site purporting to be the "Leader of the McCain Mafia." An anonymous threat demanding the recipient do the honorable thing would be quite in keeping with an individual who would run a site like Political Mafioso. We suspect Sen. McCain would consider the removal of all references to him to be the honorable thing for Politico Mafioso to do.

Jeff Vath, the somewhat substantial man behind the site, is also known for his photo-shopped art attacks on political candidates, elected officials and others he selects for derision. Photoshop is a weapon that, like tracer rounds, is useful in both directions.
